HOULTON — The Houlton School of Dance held its annual recital May 3-4 at the Houlton Community Arts Center, performing two, sold-out shows. Led by director Sandy Hartley, this year’s recital featured three acts, showcasing scenes from Disney’s Aladdin; a circus; and follies.
Instructors for the show, which featured tap, jazz and ballet, were Hartley, Brandi Morneau, Sue Waite-York, Garth Bates, Franki White, Kaycee McClure and Katelynn McClure.
Anyone in sixth grade or older that is interested in a ballet workshop at the Robinson Ballet School in Bangor June 25-29 should call 723-4033 to register. Students will be housed with Hartley at Eastern Maine Community College.
Those in grades 3-9 who are interested in a four-day summer workshop at Studio One on July 23-26 should call 723-4033. Registration for fall classes will be Sept. 24-25.
