The mentoring program and student council at Houlton High School are joining forces with Forestry wardens and the town to do a clean-up day on Tuesday, May 22, from 8:15 a.m.-1 p.m. The students will pick trash on all of the roads leading in and out of town.
Other students will be working with Aroostook Area on Aging and going to a few elderly homes to do some yard clean up or heavy lifting, or whatever they need done, according to Dee Butler, program coordinator.
