    HODGDON – Laura M. Hutchinson, 74, died April 20, 2012 at her residence. She was born June 7, 1937 in Houlton, the daughter of Marvin and Helena (Smith) Foster.
    Laura was a communicant of Saint Mary of the Visitation Church. She was employed as a CNA at Madigan Estates Healthcare Facility for 17 years.
    Laura enjoyed writing poetry and was  published several times. She was married to Leon Hutchinson for 55 years.
    Laura is survived by her husband, Leon; her son, Alex Hutchinson and his wife, Lisa, all of Hodgdon; two daughters, Christy Hutchinson of Houlton, Helen Folsom and her husband, Bruce, of Hodgdon; three grandchildren, Alex, Lindy, Morgan; her sister, Edna Johnson of Hodgdon; several nieces and nephews; two special cousins, Eugene Foster, Jackie Bassingthwaite.
