Barbara Troy, chairman of the current contest, said it is going well and will end in two weeks. Denise told us that charms will be awarded the last week of the month. Installation of new officers will be in two more weeks.
She also gave us some facts on broccoli—when you eat broccoli, it gives a feeling of fullness, and helps keep us strong and lowers blood pressure, it helps to promote good skin. Almost all the members said they ate broccoli and revealed ways to cook it.
Barbara Troy led us in several minutes of exercises. Denise said it is good to have a buddy while working out: there is safety with partners, it gives quality time and they share interest. Denise gave us some facts on KOPS: being a rookie, shadow, joker, facilitator. Charlotte Marley distributed new telephone and birthday lists.
