Mill Pond School celebrates Dr. Seuss’ birthday

    As other school districts across the country were celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday, a Family Reading Night was held at Mill Pond School on March 1.
    Students in Pre-K-eighth grade participated in the event as well as several staff members who volunteered to read Dr. Seuss stories to the children.

    Middle school students assisted with directing activities, such as face-painting, fishing for fish crackers, and making bookmarks. Students were invited to wear their favorite hat in honor of the “The Cat in the Hat.”
    Cupcakes and punch were served as a snack.
