GO — Dave Goodrich, front left, along with local runners, in back, Barrett Potter, Rusty Taylor and Paul Adams join runners at the start of the Wild Katahdin Trust Snow Run held duirng Moosestompers Weekend on Feb. 17-19. GIVING BACK — This year, the Wild Katahdin Trust Snow Run committee earmarked $500 to be given to the Health Services Foundation Digital Mammography Project. Three of the team members work directly with people with cancer in the area and one is a cancer survivor. This year’s addition of Barb Tonzi’s “Musterd Mittens” as the race favor, was the magnet, as well as the charities promoted. It was their avid participation that provided the funds, along with Katahdin Trust, that made this year’s event such a success. At the check donation were, from left, Cheryl Quint, RN, cancer nurse; Elizabeth Dulin, director of Health Services Foundation; Larry Tonzi, FNP, race director; Barbara Tonzi, RN, cancer nurse; and Mark King, officer with Katahdin Trust Company.
