Denton joins Katahdin Trust Company as vice president, commercial services officer

    HOULTON — Katahdin Trust Company Senior Vice President of Commercial Services Peter St. John announced the appointment of Andrew S. Denton as vice president, commercial services officer with responsibilities for business lending and development in the Presque Isle and Caribou area.
    “We are pleased to have Andrew join us,” said St. John. “His years of experience in the financial services industry will be a tremendous asset in his new position at Katahdin Trust Company.”

    A New Hampshire native, Denton graduated from Newfound Memorial High School in Bristol, N.H. and received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire. He has extensive experience in the financial services industry, starting in 1982 and serving in a variety of positions, most recently as director of commercial lines for Granite Group Benefits in Manchester, N.H., Dallas and Houston, Texas.
    Denton currently resides in Winterville with his wife Nancy and has two grown children.
