Locals named to Dean’s Lists

Katherine Cone
    BIDDEFORD — Katherine Cone, daughter of Milton and Susan Cone of Houlton has been named to the Dean’s List for the 2011 fall semester at the University of New England. Dean’s List students have attained a grade point average of 3.30 or better out of a possible 4.0 at the end of the semester.
    A 2011 graduate of Houlton High School, Cone is a major in pre-medical biology and a minor in neuroscience.
    She is also actively involved at the University in the Pre Med Club and the EMS Club.
Emily Little
    Dr. Ronald S. Godwin, senior vice president for academic affairs and provost at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. has announced that Emily Little, daughter of Gene and Kelly Little of Littleton has qualified for the Fall 2011 Dean’s List. This honor is awarded to full-time students who have earned a 3.5 GPA or greater that term.
Kaleb Campbell
    John Barlow, academic dean of Maine Maritime Academy in Castine announced that Kaleb Campbell has been named to the Dean’s List. Campbell is the son of Andrea and the late Gary Campbell of Hermon and grandson of Sandra and Gary Garcelon of Oxford and Norma and Bruce Campbell of Patten.
    Campbell’s final semester grade point average was 3.3839.
Husson University Dean’s List
    The following students from the area have been named to the Dean’s List at Husson University for the fall semester 2011. To be named to the Dean’s List, you must earn a 3.4 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
