The Houlton Junior High cheerleaders, under coach Renae Foley and assistant coach Taylor Lindsay, competed in the 2012 Junior High Aroostook League Cheering Competition which was held at Central Aroostook High School earlier this month. The squad received the award for Best Team Tumbling and Taylor Reed received an award for individual Grade 6-7 Jumps. Team members include Taylor Barnes, Piper Flewelling, Samantha Grahn, Katie Knights, MacKenzie Hunt, Brittany Vargas, Maraya Kini, Lexi Fore, Chloe Davis, Megan McLaughlin, Hannah Jacobs, McKaylee Michaud, Sam Montrose, Mariah O’Neal, Abby Fore, Medinah Diane, Rachel Toupin, Josie Hare, Tessa Roshto, Toni McDonald, Reed, Hannah Foley and manager Desiree Shannon.
