Taking the pledge

More than 200 students at Houlton Southside School have signed a banner pledging to keep the school bully free. The banner bearing the students’ signatures is on display in the school lobby. Southside has had an on-going bullying-prevention program since 2003. The program includes annual presentations from trained staff members and outside guests.
