Biddeford – Betsy Davis, daughter of Bob and Kathie Davis of Mapleton, has received recognition at the University of New England’s Annual Awards Ceremony on April 22, 2008, at Decary Hall on UNE’s University Campus in Biddeford. Davis received the Who’s Who among students in American Universities and Colleges award for outstanding merit and accomplishments as a student in academic performance, leadership, service to the University and service to the community.
A 2004 graduate of Presque Isle High School, Davis is a major in occupational therapy and is involved at the University in the Pi Theta Epsilon Honor Society.
