Lucas Duff, left, 7-years-old and Asher Calaman, 6-years-old pose with a cow moose dressed out at 570 pounds. The boys hunted with their fathers, Dana Duff, permit holder, and Kris Calaman, sub-permitee last Saturday morning on the McIntyre Road. The hunters spotted a bull and cow, but they only had a cow permit. Along with the fathers and sons was friend, Dan Soucy. The hunters stalked the two moose until they got into range of them at about 128 yards with an electronic range finder. Calaman took the shot with a Remington 308 and the cow moose went down. The two boys were totally excited and the fathers enjoyed having them and Dan along on the hunt.
