Chadwick’s Florist to offer floral design classes

    HOULTON — Starting in October, Chadwick’s will be offering evening floral design classes for the public at their shop in Houlton. Monthly classes will be available for October, November, December and January. Classes usually run for 1.5 to 2 hours.
    A variety of floral designs will be taught during the classes including a Ghastly Ghost arrangement, an Autumn’s Grace bouquet, the Yuletide’s Light centerpiece, and a Winter’s Roses basket.  Attendees will learn how to make the arrangements and will take them home after each class.
    Flower care and handling, color harmonies, and design techniques will be talked about and discussed during the classes.  Come and learn tips on how to work with flowers in your home and from your garden as well as enjoying a creative evening out!
