VaJoWa Golf Course has been enjoying the beautiful weather of July as the course is in fantastic shape!
Last Sunday, VaJoWa’s members participated in their annual Co-Ed Golf. The format for this week was an alternate shot with teams of four.
The winning group for this week was Ted Pettengill, Becky Kelley, Joe Kelley and Jeanette Harvey. There were two teams tied for second, the first team consisted of Jenness Gushee, Sara Douglas, Peter Blood and Sally Cyr, while the other team tied for second was Francis Cyr, Terry Pettengill, John Smallwood and Jarice Kelley.
The course will be holding a charity scramble this Saturday for the Carleton Project. The scramble is a four-person format with a minimum team handicap of 35 starting at 8 a.m. The cost will be $200 per team, which includes lunch and cart rental.
Also, if you are looking to enjoy a casual round of play at VaJoWa during the week, please grab a Coffee News with our coupon which makes 18 holes and a cart, $35.
