The Middle School Awards Ceremony was held on Wednesday, June 15, at Houlton Junior-Senior High School.
Principal Marty Bouchard presented the Secretary of State Citizenship Award to Noah Holmes. Principal Bouchard also presented the Academic and Good Citizenshship Awards to Keegan Fitzpatrick and Caleigh Sullivan.
The following special awards were presented as follows: Ervin Stone Algebra Award to Christian Crane; Morris Cassidy Mathematics Award to Brock Gould; Technology Education Awards to Ethan Bouchard and Jacob Condon; Consumer Science Awards to Shaina Hamilton and Casey Carmichael; Carol Jordan Reading Award to Laura Beals; Margaret Qualey English Award to Emma Gallop; Donna Wheeler Social Studies Award to Dakota Gramour; Vocal Music Award to Madelene Anderson; Instrumental Music Award to Hannah Gervais; Combined Music Award to Jill Howland; Margaret Churchill Science Award to Emily Mooers; and Art Award to Tyra Moffatt.
Junior High Student Council Awards went to Lexi Bartlett, Nathan Bouchard, Zach Guiod, Lexi Hernandez, Angel Melvin, Mariah O’Neal, Billy Phillips, Sydney Richardson, Aaron Sewell, Carey Suitter, Madelene Anderson, Hayley Flewelling, Nia Hamilton, Noah Holmes, Mark Lewis, Haven Rhoda and Caleigh Sullivan.
Student of the Month Awards went to Mariah Boyd, Connor Bulley, Adam Casillas, Caleigh Sullivan, Erica Fitzpatrick, Brady Wolsleben, Jacob Conrad, Emily Mooers, Nathan Bouchard, Jill Howland, Amber Ivey, Kyle Bouchard, Samantha Grahn, Christian Crane, Michael Holmes, Madelene Anderson, Megan Collett and Morgan Wotton. Members of the Civil Rights Team receiving awards were Stephanie Taylor, Michelle MacDonald, Caila Keber and Laura Beals.
Third Quarter Principal’s Honor Awards were presented to Amira Abouleish, Adam Casillas, Megan Collett, Logan Cyr-Ellis, Erika Fitzpatrick, Lauren Eastham, Chelsea Gentle, Morgan Nelson, Noah Holmes, Hannah Gervais, Janelle Levesque, Emily Mooers and Natalie Rush. Awards for perfect attendance went to Hayley Flewelling, Brady Wolsleben, Logan Winslow, Makala Miller, Isaiha Littleton, Taylor Graham and Kaitlyn Condon.
