Mercedes Melo, owner/operator of Tim Hortons in Houlton, generously donated a bicycle to a youth in the community. Makayla Watson, daughter of Josie Watson, was the recipient of the gift. At the presentation were, from left, Brian Bell and Gregg Swallow of the Greater Houlton Christian Academy; Makayla and her mother, along with Melo and David Rowe, youth pastor of the Houlton Wesleyan Church. Makayla participated in the GHCA annual bike-a-thon June 5.
