Setting sail for Houlton

The Houlton Recreation Department will be hosting the puppet show “Everybody Loves Pirates” on Thursday. This free show will be held at the Gentle Memorial Building at 5:30 p.m. Concessions will be on sale at the show. This show is part of the Third Thursday Art Festival Event sponsored by SACAP, Houlton Chamber of Commerce and Houlton Recreation Department. The show is about an hour long and will feature 8-year-old Lucy and her goofy pal Little Chucky, who are searching for buried treasure, but a gang of bumbling pirates keeps getting in the way.. “Everybody Loves Pirates” features 15 hand-crafted mouth and rod puppets and a large paper-mache pirate ship.
