STACEYVILLE — Student artwork was on display at Katahdin High School May 5 for the 10th annual Katahdin High School Art Contest and Exhibit. Sara Hill, president of the Patten Woman’s Club, welcomed members in attendance.
The featured speaker was Annaliese Jakimides. Rhonda Brophy, Steve Guiggey and Cecily Mackinnon served as judges for the event.

ART SHOW — The 10th annual Katahdin High School Art Show was held May 5 at the KHS Auditorium. Abigail Perry was the first prize winner, receiving $100.
Abigail Perry won the first-place award for her piece “Beatles on a Scratch Board.” Other winners on the evening were Victoria Paolucci, second place; Kylie Glidden, third place; Brittney Woods, fourth place; and Sarah Harris, honorable mention.
