Marie F. Roy
New Limerick – Marie F. Roy 72, died April 10, 2011, at her residence. She was born August 1, 1938, at Belfast, the daughter of Frank and Hattie (Cook) Roy.
Marie, known to those who loved her as “Ree”, was a great friend and loved to tell stories about her life’s experiences.
Ree is survived by her husband Richard Emerson of New Limerick; her daughter Ann Connelly of Silver Springs, FL; her brother Clarence Anderson of FL; her sister Marion Towns of FL; her faithful companion Shadow; several nieces, nephews and lots of great friends at Tim Horton’s in Houlton.
At Ree’s request, there will be no services. Gifts may be made in Ree’s memory to the Houlton Humane Society, c/o Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park Street, Houlton, 04730.
