ACAP –– Dyer Brook Pre-K/Head Start held their annual Trike-a-Thon at the Oakfield Community Center. All of the money raised supported the children at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event was very profitable, raising about $820.
The children had so much fun riding their trikes and practicing good safety habits such as: stopping for a moose that crosses the road; stopping and looking both ways at a railroad crossing; going the speed limit around the corners; wearing helmets and protective gear and recognizing that different signs have different meanings.
