Winter hanging on

East Grand Outdoor Education students, from left, Kevin Haggerty, Samari Stewart, Kenneth Winairski, Neil Noble and Logan Crone enjoyed a three-day trip to Sugarloaf with the Outdoor Education Program. Over the past two winters, students took advantage of the 21st Century’s weekly trips to Big Rock Ski in Mars Hill to improve on their skills, which made the trip to Sugarloaf much more enjoyable. The trip was made possible in part with the 21st Century after school program taking care of transportation costs and a condominium at the mountain was provided at no cost to the students.
