HOULTON, Maine — The Cary Library unveiled a new logo.
“The design of a logo identifies your business and the graphic elements depend upon quality, excellence and appearance,” said Linda Faucher, library director. “We wanted the library logo to provide physical recognition as well as remain in keeping with its historical importance as part of the Houlton community and surrounding towns.”
Frank Sullivan, local artist and graphic designer created the new logo. Sullivan, originally from Massachusetts, resides in Littleton.
“Frank dedicated many hours working with the Library Trustees, providing design ideas and samples, to create a simple yet effective insignia that identifies the library and is in keeping with the rich history of the Houlton community,” Faucher said. “Many talented people live in our communities and the trustees are very pleased with the professionalism and quality of workmanship provided by Frank in his creation of our new logo.”
