“Let’s Talk About It” is a free, facilitated book discussion program for adults. Cary Library will be partnering with Houlton/Hodgdon Adult Education System, Maine Humanities Community and the Maine State Library to launch this new program starting February 2011. The program runs every third Wednesday and runs for five weeks.
A theme will be chosen and five books will be read and discussed. In order for this new program to be launched the library needs a commitment of 12 people. Pre-registration is required and you may sign up at the Houlton Higher Education Center. Meeting times have not been set at this time but the opportunity exists for either 9:30 to 11:00 or 3:00 to 4:30. You may call either Bernadette at Adult Ed [521-3100 ext. 5] or Linda at Cary Library from 9 to 5 [532-1302] for more information. . We feel the “Let’s Talk About It” program will provide for a stimulating fellowship and literary enrichment in the Southern Aroostook County.
