NE-CLR-TUESDAY ROLLOVER-dc-pt-44Richard Smith of Lincoln was charged with imprudent speed Nov. 2 after he lost control of the tractor trailer he was driving while heading south on U.S. Route 1 in Hodgdon. According to Trooper Flynn of the Maine State Police, Smith was going too fast and lost control of the vehicle on a sharp corner, causing the vehicle to flip onto its side. The trooper estimated damage between $30,000-$40,000. Smith was hauling woodchips to Baileyville for Robin Crawford and Sons of Lincoln. Smith was treated for minor injuries.
