USDA local work group meeting set

    The Aroostook County USDA Local Work Group serving the Southern Aroostook area will meet on Thursday, Nov. 18, from 9-11a.m. The meeting will be held at the USDA Service Center at 304 North St. in Houlton.
    The Local Work Group is being convened by the Southern Aroostook Soil and Water Conservation District. The Local Work Group will assist the Natural Resources Conservation Service District Conservationist in determining the resource priorities and how best to manage the Farm Bill programs to meet the local resource needs. The primary focus will be in regards to the Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP).
