A workshop for veterans will be held at the Presque Isle CareerCenter on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be one session only starting at 9 a.m. Subject experts will present information covering:
• VA Health Benefits and Compensation
• Caribou VA Clinic
• Services Available from Vet Centers
• Services Available from the Bureau of Veterans Services
• Maine Veterans Home in Caribou
• Local VFW Commander
• Local American Legion Commander
• Maine’s CareerCenter Resources
“It’s critical that area veterans know of their entitlements and this workshop is the vehicle to make that happen,” said Stephen J. Gagnon, Aroostook Veterans representative. “Spouses, life partners, friends and family are highly encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be available as well.”
