FIRST TROPHY — Mariah Boyd, 12, of Houlton and her stepfather Kris Calaman stalked this deer for nearly a half hour before she was able to take the shot across an open field at over 150 yards with a Remington 308 on Youth Day on Saturday. The deer, weighed at Macs Trading Post, was 153 pounds, with a four-point rack This is Boyd’s first deer.
