GHCA boys second in meet

    The Aroostook League Championship cross-country meet was held at Lonesome Pine Trails in Fort Kent.
    Fort Kent won the boys’ meet with 37 points, followed by Greater Houlton Christian Academy with 47 points. Limestone and Washburn didn’t have enough participants for team points.
    In the boys’ division, GHCA’s Micah Wiley was first with a time of 19:56, followed by Lucas Woodward, Fort Kent, 20:57; Joey Fishman, Fort Kent, 21:34; Scott Whitney, Fort Kent, 21:52; Russell Socoby, GHCA, 22:48; Eric Deschene, Fort Kent, 24:21; Ethan Holmes, GHCA, 24:42; Isaiah Straubel, GHCA, 27:34 and Matt Rioux, Fort Kent, 28:14. In 16th was GHCA’s Jordan Cummings, 29:40.
    On the girls’ side, there were no team scores.
