HOULTON — The Houlton Higher Education Center’s Intervention for Families with Children class is holding a raffle for needy families. Prizes include a $50 Daigle Oil Company gas card, $50 Walmart gift card, a hand-made basket by Richard Silliboy and a certificate for tanning and a hair cut from Infinity. Tickets are $1 each or five for$3 and are available at the Houlton Center front desk.
Proceeds from the raffle will go towards providing needy families with Thanksgiving dinners. The raffle will be drawn Oct. 26 at noon. Additionally, the group will be holding a bake sale Oct. 26 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the college. For more information, call Pam Sanders at 521-6166.
