Dance studio opens

    HARTFORD, N.B. – Smith’s Dance Academy has announced the grand opening of its new studio for the Woodstock area at 5 Hillside St. in Hartford. The occasion will be marked on Wednesday, Sept. 29 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome to tour the new facility, register for fall classes, and come join the fun.
    The new location features more space for dancers and parents, a retail area for dance shoes and clothing, web cam technology so parents can watch their rising stars without any classroom disruptions, and many more features.
    “Our new studio will allow our students to have the same quality, fun dance education but with more space, features and technology available to them,” said Amanda Boone, director and owner. “With our new features we will now be able to offer more classes, and new classes such as Mommy and Me, flexibility and couples ballroom.”
    Smith’s Dance Academy provides dance education in a fun, positive environment in Woodstock, Florenceville and Perth-Andover. Classes are offered in hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet, mommy and me, flexibility, cheerleading, lyrical, boys only, ballroom and many more. Students from age 1 and up are welcome. Its objective is to provide all students with dance instruction that maximizes their individual potential in an environment that is fun.
