SHERMAN — On Sunday, Sept. 19, at 5:30 p.m., there will be a public ham supper for five Wounded Warriors (four amputees) from Iraq, and one wounded Vietnam Veteran, at the Sherman Gym. The five are in town to go bear hunting courtesy of 3 Rivers Guide Service in Sherman. The National Anthem and Amazing Grace will be sung by a local girl. Come show your support to these Wounded Warriors who gave so much while in harm’s way in Iraq and Vietnam.  The cost of the meal is $7. All military personnel with ID’s will be given a free meal.
