To the editor:
Sherman Old Home Days had a lot of activities. The Tea at the Perrin Home was a fun time for us, including the infant twins, young girls and all ages to senior citizens.
The Perrin daughters, with help from friends and family, had beautiful tables arranged with tea pots and fragrant flowers.
While we sipped tea and ate their lunch, we were enjoying the beautiful hats loaned to wear for the two hours. This made a good time to enjoy the singing and story-telling. One of the door prizes was a hat! We have good memories of the day. Next year we will be there!
