Quickbooks Pro sign-up ends Friday
    Houlton/Hodgdon Adult Education will continue to take registration for its Beginning Quickbooks Pro class through Friday, Sept. 17. The first class will be on Monday, Sept. 20 at the Houlton Higher Education Center, 6-8 p.m. The class fee is $30 for this three session course and the instructor is Stacey Emery.
Fabric painting Saturday, cake decorating rescheduled.
    The one-day Fabric Painting class will be this Saturday, Sept. 18 from  9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Houlton Higher Education Center.
    The nine-session Cake Decorating class has been rescheduled to start Tuesday, Sept. 28, 6-9 p.m. at the Houlton High School.
Help Others Learn
    Literacy Volunteers of Aroostook is planning Literacy Volunteer training in Houlton on  Oct. 7 and 14 (5:30-8:30  p.m).  If you would like more information about this chance to help another adult learn and succeed, call 325-3490 or the Houlton Higher Education Center at 521-3100 extension 5 and leave your name and telephone number. You will receive a follow-up call with more information about this opportunity to give back something to your community.
