Mr. and Mrs. Carl Duff of Houlton celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary July 10 at “Carl’s Shack.” All of the Duff children joined in the festivities: Jim and wife, Eloise of Alabama; Dana and son Lucas; Tom and wife, Nancy; Dale and wife, Nora; Peter and friend, Angela; and Carla. Nine of 12 grandchildren were also on hand for the special event. Carl’s sister Audrey and husband, Don, from South Portland and two of the couple’s closest friends, Jean Stover and Gail Duff, also attended. “The Shack” was filled with a huge barbecue, lots of friends and family, and a lot of love and gratitude for the featured pair.
