MSAD 29/70 Houlton/Hodgdon Adult Education begins its fall term this week, but it is not too late to get enrolled for the GED or in a refresher math class. Students will have until Friday, Sept. 10, to become enrolled in Mini-term No. 1 classes. There is no charge to state of Maine residents for the GED. There is a $50 charge for a math class for students who already have a high school credential. Take the Hunter Safety Class in Time for the Season — Houlton/Hodgdon Adult Education and the Maine Dept. of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife will be offering the annual fall Hunter Safety course on Tuesday Sept. 14, from 6-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Houlton High School cafeteria. Attendance on both dates is necessary for course completion. The instructor is Maurice Brewer, the fee is $3, and seating is limited.
