    PATTEN — Accuracy, reliability, accountability, and experience are the trademarks of Calculations Inc. Calculations provides services such as business planning, payroll processing, bookkeeping, truck licensing and reporting, and income tax preparation and planning.
    Mellissa McAvoy Edwards, CPA, MAFM, MBA, owns the company. Mellissa has a masters degree in accounting and finance, a masters in business administration, and recently became licensed as a certified public accountant. While she has a hand in every aspect of the business, she focuses her time on business consulting and tax planning/preparation.
    The Calculations team is rounded out by Rachel Shorey Campbell, Sandy McNally, and Randy Holmes EA. Rachel has many years of experience and is the resident payroll expert – she spends most of her time doing payrolls or bookkeeping. Sandy is the friendly voice answering the phone – she focuses on truck licensing and reporting. Randy handles most of the IRS collections cases – he has 28 years of experience working as an IRS revenue agent specializing in collections.
    Some people like to hire someone to do all of their record keeping (budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, as well as the actual bookkeeping and tax preparation), while others prefer to keep a little more control. No matter what level of service you are looking for, Calculations can put together a package for you.

While I CAN wire a light switch, I know that an electrician can do it faster and better and I can make enough money working for my customers in the time I save by hiring him to be able to pay him” said Edwards.
