Friends of Aroostook provide free veggies

    LINNEUS — Friends of Aroostook is offering free vegetables to those who wish to come and pick them at their field on the Bangor Road. The field is located just after the Ruth Road and one mile before Grammy’s Restaurant. Beans, zucchini and cucumbers are available at no charge, Monday- Friday 8 a.m. to noon and Saturday by appointment. For more information, call 694-8131.
