The Maine McDonald’s alternative-energy Eco-Cab and UpTeam jumping stilt performers also entertained festival-goers at the Maine Potato Blossom Festival in Fort Fairfield this past weekend. The Eco-Cab, an eye-catching ‘city cab’ is an eco-friendly urban transport system powered by a human driver and produces zero emissions. The colorful, three-wheeled Eco-Cab carries up to three passengers.
Accompanying the Eco-Cab were the high-flying UpTeam stilt performers, sporting a 1980s retro style “The Smooth Operators.”
Among the stops in Houlton were Trendsetters Hair Salon; Lisa’s Hair Salon; Houlton Pioneer Times; and Maine Potato Growers, Inc.
