Margaret “Dolly” Suitter

Suitter,  Margaret, 81, May 18, 2010.  Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment to be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Houlton.     CLINTON and HOULTON – Margaret “Dolly” Suitter 81, died May 18, 2010 at her home in Clinton surrounded by her family. She was born June 18, 1928 at Oakfield, the daughter of Alfred and Eliza (Tibbitts) Chambers.
    Dolly was a member of the Houlton First Baptist Church and attended the Clinton Methodist Church. She was a member of the Houlton and Clinton Rebeccahs and the Clinton Grange. She enjoyed square dancing and going camping with her family.
    Dolly is survived by her six children, Linda Thorne of Clinton, who took wonderful care of Dolly during her illness, Donna McGillicuddy and her husband Charles, Emily Reece and her husband Robert, Keith Suitter all of Houlton, Edwin Gerald “Jerry” Suitter, II and his wife Elizabeth of NC, Timothy Suitter of Houlton; nine grandchildren Karri, Marci, Corey, Alison, Jonathan, Kristen, Michelle, Tamecka and Paul; eight great-grandchildren Drew Ann, Brandon, Garrett, Samuel, Ella, Molly, Alyssa, Aiden, David, Shaylee and Shayne; nine brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Edwin G. Suitter in 2008, five brothers, and five sisters.
    Friends called 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services were held 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Art Myers officiating.
