CPR, First Aid at Hodgdon Fire
Houlton/Hodgdon Adult Education and Region Two Adult Vocational Education announce a CPR course and a First Aid course at the Hodgdon Fire Department. The CPR class will meet on Thursday, May 27, from 5:30 –9 p.m.. The First Aid class will meet on Tuesday, June 1 from 5:30 – 9 p.m. Students may register for one or for both classes. Paul Stewart is the instructor, and the fee for each course is $25.
Internet Courses Available
Houlton/Hodgdon Adult Education is announcing that PLATO Internet at-home learning will be available this summer for a limited number of students. Preference will be given to GED students (no charge) and to high school graduates preparing for college ($50 charge). For more information, call Bernadette Farrar at the Houlton Higher Education Center. Applicants will complete assessments in June; those accepted will attend some sessions at the Houlton Higher Education Center. This program will run from July 5 to Aug. 13.
