Decatur, 94, of 158 Long Sands Rd., died Saturday, May 8, 2010 in Sentry Hill. She was born April 27, 1916 in Bridgewater, Maine a daughter of the late William and Myrinda (O’Neil) Brewer.
    She was the co-owner & operator of Decatur Cottages in York Beach, Maine along with her husband. She was a member of the Cape Neddick Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and she enjoyed traveling.
    Her husband Carlton C. Decatur died in 1988 and her son, Stephen B. Decatur, died in 1973. She leaves a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Decatur of York, ME; a grandson, Christopher S. Decatur and his wife, Suzanne K. Decatur of Shrewsbury, MA; a granddaughter, Marnie A. Tafferner and her husband, Conrad Tafferner of Guyton, GA; 4 great-grandchildren, Joshua Brown, Arielle Brown, Sierra Decatur and Bailey Decatur; 7 nephews, Leon Milliken, Donald, Keith, Marc, Robert, Bill and Rodney Brewer. Five brothers and a sister predeceased her.
    Calling hours were held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 10th in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, Maine. A funeral service took place at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 11th in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Berwick, Maine.
