Twenty2 Vodka and the Courtyard Café are hosting an evening of art, food, and martinis to benefit the programs of Southern Aroostook Cultural Arts. Only 125 tickets will be sold to this exciting and fun event. Tickets are $25 a single and $45 a couple. Tickets can be purchased at the Courtyard or Visions on Main Street in Houlton. The Artini will be held from 6 – 8:30 p.m. on May 3 at the Courtyard Café.
Twenty2 Vodka is bringing an artist’s pallet of colorful martinis to the event for attendees sampling pleasure. They have chosen a martini based on each color of the pallet. Each attendee will have their choice of five mini martinis … from the seven choices offered. Recipes will be available May 3 for taking home and enjoying later.
The Courtyard Café will be hosting hors d’ourves and desserts while participants sample and mingle. Not only will those in attendance be mingling, they will be creating art. There will be three works of art created that night by attendees and they will be showcased after the event at the Courtyard and then sold.
SACAP provides art, literary, musical and other cultural arts programming across the area. The agency raises funds to support the arts in a variety of ways. The SACAP’s mission (in part) is to help grow and support a flourishing arts community in northern Maine. SACAP chose a martini event to support and showcase two local businesses while bringing to the community a new and different event.
