Higher Ed Center hosts “Hello College”
    The Houlton Higher Education Center and Gear Up of the Maine Parent Federation present “Get’em Ready for Higher Ed” and “Goodbye High School, Hello College” on Wednesday, May 5 in room 120 at the Higher Ed Center.  “Get’em Ready” is from 5-6:30 p.m. and “Goodbye” is from 7-8:30 p.m. with pizza at 6:30 p.m.

Cooperative Extension Canning and Drying Food Class
    The University of Maine Cooperative Extension and Houlton/Hodgdon Adult Education have extended its food preservation series by offering Pressure Canning and Drying on Wednesday, April 28 from 6-9 p.m. at the Houlton High School. The class is taught by Linda Trickey and there is a supplies fee of $12.50.  To register, call adult education at 521-3100, extension 5.
