WINN – Marie Albert, 83, died April 8, 2010, at Cummings Nursing Home, in Howland. She was born March 9, 1927, in Winn, the daughter of Arden and Lillian (Jarvis) Crocker.
Marie was an active lifetime member of Sacred Heart Church, in Winn, where she was a Eucharist Minister, a leader at Cursillo across the state of Maine and a Sunday School teacher.
Marie is survived by her children, Virginia Albert, of Winn, Susan and her husband, James Deveau, of Houlton and Earle and his wife, Phyllis Albert, of Liberty; one brother, Jimmy and his wife Nancy Crocker, of Exeter; two sisters-in-law, Vivian Crocker, of Connecticut and Phoebe Crocker, of Exeter; her grandchildren, Aaron and his wife, Carolyn Corro, of Ellsworth, Laura and her husband, George McGinley, of Rhode Island, Shannon and her husband, Wes Pettit, of Alton, Daniel Deveau and his fiancee, Jessica McNinch, of Houlton, Sergi and Vadim Albert, Katie and Andrew Cloutier, of Liberty; great-grandchildren, Tyler Corro, Lucas McGinley and Kaynun McNinch; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, James; her parents; one son, James, Jr.; one daughter, Lillian Corro;, brothers, Clifton, Delmont, Lionel, Alston, Charlie, Walter and Stanley Crocker; sisters, Inez Wooley, Malina Knights and Lorraine Lancaster; and one grandson, Joseph Deveau.
Friends called from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, April 12, at Sacred Heart Church, Winn, with the Rev Myles Cyr officiating. Interment will be in East Winn Cemetery.
