    PORT RICHEY, FL – Paul H. Forest, 68, of Oakfield, ME and Port Richey, FL, passed away on Friday, April 2, in Port Richey. Paul was born Sept. 15, 1941 in Keene, NH to H. Paul Forest and Eva (Vaillancourt) Forest. He was a 1959 graduate of Keene High School and a graduate of Unity College in Maine. Paul retired after serving 21 years with the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He later retired from Houlton Regional Hospital as lab manager. He was past president of the HRH Health Services Foundation, past chairman of the Southern Aroostook Community School Board, past chairman of the town of Oakfield planning board and served as Oakfield’s Health Officer in the past. Paul and his wife Linda spent their retirement years travelling to Port Richey, FL in the winter and at their home in Oakfield and in their camper during the summer. They have spent the past 10 winters in Port Richey. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking.
    Paul is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Linda Anderson Forest and six children, H. Paul Forest III of Warren, David Forest and his wife Marion of Windham, NH, Cathy Kennedy and her husband Craig of Merrill, Ann Forest of Litchfield, NH, Danielle Laudani and her husband Joseph of Salem, NH and Michelle Forest-Davis and her husband Ron of Scottsdale, AZ; one step-dauther, Kristie Spittle and her husband Kenneth of Houlton; seven grandchildren, Jackie, Michael, Melanie, David and Colby Forest, Brian and Jason McInnis; three sisters, Sandra Forest and Cynthia Carney of Keene, NH, and Sharon Forest of Lisbon; two sisters- in- law, Carolyn Carpenter and husband, Sonny of Houlton and Kathy Bragan and husband Paul of Easton; several nieces and nephews, and special friends Martha and Robert Dickinson of Oakfield.
    There will be a memorial service in Port Richey on Tuesday afternoon. Full funeral services in Oakfield will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
