    Houlton – Maxine S. Williamson, 89, went home to be with her Lord Nov. 17, 2009. She was born October 20, 1920, at Littleton, the daughter of Frank and Susie (London) Stitham.
    Maxine was a member of the Littleton United Baptist Church. She worked for many years at Lynd’s Truck Stop. Maxine was an accomplished seamstress and loved to cook for her family and friends. She was a hard worker and was faithful to her family and friends.
    Maxine is survived by two sons, Tim and Carol Williamson of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Dana and Mary Williamson of Houlton; three daughters, Darla and Peter Kober of Saco, Diane and David Smith of Milford, CT, Janet Myers and her friend Seth Gerber of Houlton; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Laverna Williamson of Bridgewater, Patricia and Al Tuba of CT; brother-in-law, Vaughn Williamson of NH; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Williamson; two sisters, Dorothy Stitham and Hazel Newman; and her brother, Ralph Stitham.
    Friends called at the Dunn Funeral Home Saturday 10 a.m. until the time of the service 11 a.m. with Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating. Interment will be in the Littleton Cemetery.
