    Army Warrant Officer Donald P. Rafford III of Hodgdon stands by his ‘bird,’ a Blackhawk helicopter, at Ft. Rucker, Ala. Rafford, the son of Clark and Deborah Rafford, has been in flight school learning to fly this helicopter and will be graduating sometime in the November-December timeframe.
