The Houlton Regional Hospital has announced the following births.
    HANNING – A daughter, Peyton Ann Hanning, born to Matthew Hanning and Deidre Socoby of Houlton, on September 27, 2009.
BELL –  A daughter, Alixandria Marie Bell, born to Christopher and Martha Bell of Houlton, on September 28, 2009.
SMARR – A son, Nathan James Smarr, born to Doug and June Smarr, on September 28, 2009.
PORTER – A son, Benjamin Dean Porter, born to Dean and Clarissa Porter of Hodgdon, on September 29, 2009; joining big sister Vickie and big brother Jake.
BARTON – A daughter, Marissa Lauren Barton, born to Brian and Courtney Barton of Houlton, on September 29, 2009; joining big sister Breanne and big brother Brandon.
MCCARTHY – Twin daughters, Isabella Anne-Louise and Olivia Lynn McCarthy, born to Jeffrey and Kristin McCarthy of Houlton, on September 29, 2009.
