Ruth, Pearl., 87, October 1, 2009.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment was held in the Linneus Cemetery.
    HOULTON – Pearl Ruth, 87, died Oct. 1, 2009, in Houlton. She was born Feb. 5, 1922, in Ft. Fairfield, the daughter of Frank and Grace (Libby) Harris.
    She is survived by one son, Wendell (Butch) Ruth of Bristol, Ct.; one daughter, Joyce Miller of Houlton; four grandchildren; and severeal nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and 11 siblings,  Ray, Doris, Chester, Lois, Walter, Mary, Iva, Vivian, Burrell, Patricia and Sandra.
    A  graveside funeral service was held 10 a.m. Mon. Oct. 5, at the Linneus Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating. In leiu of flowers donations may be made to the Houlton Wesleyan Church, c/o Bowers Funeral Home, PO Box 579, Houlton, ME 04730.
