The Houlton High School Alumni Association will have a meeting for all class representatives on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the English Department at Houlton High School. If you are a class representative or if your class does not have one and you would like to be one, please come to this meeting.
The responsibility of a class rep is to gather class news for the bi-annual newsletter, North Star News, published by the association.
Following this meeting, the alumni board will meet for its first planning session for the Gala 2010. The Gala, held every five years, brings all Houlton High School alumni together for a variety of activities. The 2010 event is scheduled for the week of July 4. This will be the third such celebration.
The kick-off will begin with the Fourth of July parade, a talent show on Thursday, July 8, a social on Friday, the 9th and the gala on Saturday the 10th.
Many volunteers are needed to organize an event this large, so if you are interested in helping in any way, come to this meeting or contact, Nancy Ketch at 532-1028.
